Kimia completed her undergraduate degree in Geographical Analysis at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) before pursuing her law degree through the graduate-entry L.L.B program at the University of Leeds in England. She went on to complete the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) program to qualify in Canada.

During law school, Kimia worked at a welfare appeals tribunal clinic in Leeds, assisting low-income households in challenging decisions that could significantly impact their lives. Working alongside local council representatives, she developed a strong appreciation for advocacy that is both practical and compassionate.

Kimia was also an active member of her law school’s Law Society and advanced to the semi-finals of her class Negotiations club competition, where she honed her advocacy and strategic thinking skills.

Outside the office, Kimia enjoys rewatching 90s and early 2000s classic films, playing pickleball, and spending time with her Yorkie, Kaia.
